@Vyktors Mum , da remains of da feast are hidden, so you mommy can come ober now. Der be white bean and kale soups wit fresh made whole wheat maple bread. Mommy might make oatmeal raisin cookies too, but day not vegan. We kittehs pretends to enjoy da soup, den break out da turkey when da beans falls asleep.

So, are you really going to try the tofurkey? I'll be interested to hear how it is, if you do. I'm glad poor Vyktor doesn't have to try it!
 
I had a hickey smoked tofurkey deli 'meat' sandwich for dinner last night :) I'm not usually into meat substitutes but since it was there I had to try it. I haven't eaten meat for too many years (stopped when I was 9 and mum served up rabbit stew :eek:) to be able to tell you if it actually tastes like turkey but it made a pretty tasty sandwich. Don't know that it will become a regular thing for me though as I tend to prefer less processed food - your soup sounds delicious! I got some 'pepperoni' to try too and the lady there makes a nice notzarella cheese so there will be pizzas coming up...

Apparently Purrdy needs more lessons about bouncing (so he is grounded!) instead he got a record low AMPS this morning :)

Dats de good plan Mikey! We slurp de soup up real noisy and den quietly spit it out into de pot plants...

It sounds like Purrdy is happy to be with his mama.

What is notzarella made with? I'm not a vegetarian, but I would eat very little meat, if I wasn't married to the total carnivore. I love veggies and other plant based foods, as well as cheese and yogurt. I try to eat mostly whole unprocessed foods, but I really fall down on the job, especially when it comes to chocolate! If only Don would eat decently and stop bringing junk into the house. That will never happen!

Ooo, you brilliant, Vyktor! Dat soup be disgustin'. Kale is not for kittehs! Aldough, if we eats a few ob da beans, we can get some smelly revenge on da mommies for makin' us eats such swill!
 
I just offered Vyktor a little of the tofurky - which is definitely not suitable for diabetics and I won't do it again but he's not eating this morning so I thought I'd give it a shot to get his eating juices started - and he loved it! Was chasing after me into the kitchen for more!!!

The notzarella is based on the magical soy bean

I hope it works to jump start him!

Soy is out for me, because of my history of ovarian cancer, so I guess notzarella is out too. I'll just have to eat more chocolate! ;)
