Yesterday...
The last time his AMPS was in the high 300s, I gave 1.5 units of R and he stayed in the 300s. He was on 7.5 units of Lantus at the time, and we went up to 8.5 units yesterday morning, so I gave 1.25 units of R today. It took him from 387 to 250, but with the same delayed/prolonged action that I saw on 3/13.
At least he's consistently inconsistent. I mean that in the way atrial flutter or bigeminy can be decribed as "regularly irregular" - it's not normal sinus rhythm but it follows a pattern. He doesn't react the same way each time, but he's starting to show 2 different response patterns. Maybe I'm seeing the Lantus peak earlier than usual.
