Good morning LL!
Clyde appears to be eating again. I'm still not sure he's eating enough but he is an older cat who (at least a night) spends all of his time laying on one of two beds so he doesn't burn through a ton of calories.
According to Amazon, the scale is supposed to show up tomorrow night so I will be able to use that to see where his weight is headed.
It's been a week since Clyde's last shot. The last four days he's averaged about 5oz of food a day. At this point, I'm guessing that is normal for him. It makes sense, I was previously putting down about 11oz of food a day for two cats and it was usually eaten by someone
I've started splitting his food into two 2.5oz feedings so he can graze throughout the day, or at least learn to graze throughout the day. Once the scale comes in, I'm going to start tracking his weight to see what it is doing so I can better figure out how much he should be eating.
Since he now appears to be eating on a regular basis, has been off insulin for a bit, and Clyde has decided he doesn't like the last box of lancets I picked up, what do you think about starting an OTJ trial?
