LagoonMeisterin China on duty!!

She was a good kitty though.....stayed on the safe side of the shark net (well...maybe she walked along the top of it!!).....at least she didn't fall in!

Mama was put on a new medication and so far the only thing I notice it doing is making me nauseous. Would love to try some ondansetron to see if it would stop the nausea, but doctor won't let me.

May have to call the vet....LOL

If the vet will give ondansetron why not, just tell them it's fora pet and not you. Doesn't hurt to ask, they can only say no.

I guess because it's for cancer nausea....I'm going to keep trying though..just have to wait until tomorrow and hope she's in the office

I may just try it if I can't get my doctor to prescribe it....but I'd have to pay for it and I really can't afford it so if I can get my insurance to cover it, it's a lot better

My mom's doc RX it for her for nausea from a stomach virus a few years ago.

Chris, get some Ginger Tea, it is very anti nausea. Hope you feel better.

So strange that some doctors think Ondansetron is only for chemo patients. My DH's doctor gave it to him for post-surgical nausea - which he didn't experience, so we got a full prescription to use when needed! If you can't get the doctor to give you some, shoot me a PM and I'll overnight you a few of ours.
