Good morning. Osha's numbers have been all over the place, but she dipped a paw into the lagoon last night. The best part was she stayed a high green and I didn't have to worry about her.

Last week just completely wore me out. I was beyond exhausted. Between the early mornings and late night for my daughter's field trip and then because of Osha and then my own field trip, I just didn't know how I was going to make it through the days. I spent the weekend recovering, planning school work (which is now done through my vacation), doing house work and spending time with my daughter.

I hope all the beans and kitties are doing well.

be safe and steady Osha... find those high greens or pretty blues again... they look good on you girlie... hope this week is a lot less eventful and you dont get so drained Amanda :bighug::bighug:

Nice cycle last night. Not quite as dramatic a drop as the other night when she visited the 30's:eek:

Just an observation from the comments on the evening of 3/24. You gave her HC at +4 when she hit the 40's, with the drop she had at +3 (230pts) I think I would have tried to feed the curve and given her some HC at +3, feeding the curve is a useful technique especially for bouncy kitties like the Empress. It can help flatten her out, and allow her body to get used to being in that healthy range, and, with any luck she may even reduce the intensity of the bounce.

I've linked a thread above where there's an interesting discussion about feeding the curve I'm sure you have seen it in the past but it might be worth revisiting, it's a real eye opener.

Empress, we want to see you lower, but no dramatics please.

Nice numbers last night. I hope Osha slides back down today and surfs safely. I'm glad you got some rest this weekend.

Thanks Gill. I appreciate the info. I forgot to put on her ss that on that +3 I gave 1/4 can LC mixed with 1/4 can HC. I was hopeful that the HC would have boosted her up and the LC would have kept her surfing. The other times when I gave HC it was just a straight 1/2 can of HC.

It surprised me that you hadn't done something along those lines. :)
Though food for thought....
with that big of a drop perhaps some straight HC would have slowed her up more effectively, I certainly found with George, big drop early in the cycle required big guns to even make him think about slowing down, of course, ECID.;)

Glad she's being a bit less dramatic! Those deep dark greens are really your color though, Osha, and the kitties at the Lagoon miss your surfing company :D:cat:
