Hello LLL!

Yesterday: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/3-28-billie-amps-346-started-ondansetron.135307/

Thank you Ella, Rhiannon and Elise for the visits and info yesterday! @rhiannon and shadow, it sounds like we're in a similar boat. Sending vines your way too.

Billie's appy was not great today, but I guess it was a little better overall. I think the ondansetron is helping but I'm going to try the 2mg dose instead of the 1mg. No additional diarrhea so far! Paws crossed. No poos at all, actually.

I am kind of winging it as far as her insulin dosage goes, which isn't good, but I really don't know how much to give her when her appetite is so unpredictable. She was doing really well at 1.75 when the appy issues started. I was thinking of dropping to 1.5, but it still may be too much to shoot if she isn't eating. I gave her 1u tonight because she didn't have much dinner initially, but she did go back for a little more just now. I'm thinking maybe I should settle on 1.25 to be consistent and see how we do.

I will call her IM vet tomorrow to tell her where we're at and see what she thinks about what to do next. I just want Billie to feel good. She is sleeping in her favorite couch spot now.

Sending lots of vines to all the kitties and beans needing vines!

I've been where you are, so I understand. I went with the biopsy because I wanted to know what exactly we were dealing with, so we could move forward more quickly. As it turned out, it was the right decision, as Harvey has lymphoma. Since we started treatment, he is so much better. You would never know he has cancer! ECID, but I encourage you to go ahead with the biopsy if you can. Sending tons of vines and prayers for Billie, and many :bighug: for you.
