I got a call from the vet today and all of Peanut's blood work came back good. He doesn't have any UTI and his kidney and liver function is good. She did say that his BG numbers were 365 and I've been getting numbers in the mid 200's so she advised me to go ahead and keep him on the 1.5u for at least a few days and see what happens. I know that the elevated number could have just happened from stress but I'm okay with trying the 1.5u, it's not a huge jump and I'll keep an eye on him and test often.
Oh also the Dr. said that there was a lot of glucose in the urine so she didn't think that it was stress related. I might consider ordering some strips for my alphatrak just to test him a few times with so that I can make sure that my regular meter isn't way off.
The only bad thing on his test was his cholesterol, omg it is 527. It looks like he's been eating cheese burgers.
Well I'm going to be giving him his insulin a little late today because I have a doctors appointment at 11:30am, will give it when I get back.
