Stupid Monday.
WCR: Most Ps in place. Pee, poop, preen, purr...not much play from my little monster. She snuggled like a champ last night...I don't know how because I was all over the place last night...on my back, on my side, curled up in a ball, on this side, on that side. ugh! Our sinuses have had a resurgence this weekend... sneezing, stuffy nose, watery eyes. blah! And though my nose is stuffy, I swear I smell a dead rat or something like that. Currently, she is warm and comfy on my lap. I don't think she wants me to go to work. Funny, I don't want to go to work, either.
OT: a student posted a message on my chorus Facebook page that her 1 1/2 cat was attacked by their neighbor's dog. The spent several hours looking for him, but couldn't find him as of 11pm last night. Apparently, these neighbor's just leave their dog chained up outside and it finally broke free, ran into my student's yard and attacked. Another neighbor ran over and tried to restrain the dog.
I get really upset when I hear stories like this. I hate hearing about animals that are chained up outside and I'm so worried about my baby that I can't imagine allowing her outside...ever. Too many predators...gators, hawks, coyotes, bobcats, dogs, stupid humans & cars...to name a few. Anyways, hug your fur babies a little tighter and keep them safe.
