Yesterday's Condo

There is something about the combo of daylight savings time arriving and snow that doesn't compute. We touched the 40s yesterday, it rained overnight, and now it's supposed to snow. This is getting old.

Last night, some of the aforementioned snow slid off of the overhang above my front door. You'd have thought a bomb went off given the way the cats reacted. They both went on high alert. It's fascinating to watch them get used to all of the different aspects of their new home.

Ah, spring in the Midwest. We just had three days of rain, then 15" of snow. Very strange for us to get rain and ice, usually it is all snow. And now things are shooting up to the 50s, so low lying areas may flood.

So glad the kitties are enjoying their super cool new home!
