Nice to see that green last night. I hope Gordy surfs safely today.

Hope he stays safe for you. Nice to get that green while you were home. This is the 6 cycle on that dose so the depot should be getting full . Surf Gordy in blues and high greens. Hang with those numbers a while.

I used the rest of the Wellness from last night for his first 2 snack spins... he is still being ravenous. I guess I'll be a poop examiner later to see if there are signs of parasites. Other than that, I don't why he is acting like this.

Has Gordy ever had blood work to check thyroid function? Hyperthyroidism is common in cats and can make them very hungry.

Good thought Kris. And Gordy is at the age where hyper thyroid rears its head.

He just had bloodwork in December and it didn't come up, but I wouldn't know which part in the labs would show it. They are in my spreadsheet.
(I hope the thyroid was tested since I asked for the tests for older cats... but that vet didnt listen to me.)

Unfortunately, they did not test for thyroid. It's the test called tT4. I've been frustrated with the same thing, you would think it's included in a senior panel (should be IMO), but often isn't, EVID. ;) I had one vet that included it in the panel, but others I've had to ask for it specifically.

Surf safely for your bean, Gordy! :cat:

Well I guess if the odd hunger keeps going, I'll book an appointment. Its such a pain to bring him to the vet due to his hatred of vets.

    Or not.

Either way, I think he is fine for the night. Apparently my allergies are back and they make me sleepy.
