Strange cycle for Uncle today. I wish I had given his ears a little break.

Keeping Karen and Doodles as well as Bron in my thoughts. So much heartbreak.

Strange cycle for Uncle today. I wish I had given his ears a little break.

I see three possible explanations:

1. Uncle went lower last night after you stopped testing and was bouncing today.

2. You gave a furshot this morning.

3. Uncle is a cat.

Yep, all three things occurred to me as possibilities as well and I quickly moved on.
I'm learning...

I know....that's one of the bad parts about being a member of such a tight-knit community as we are here....we all feel the losses.....but we all get to share in the joys too

So many people and kitties I've grown especially attached to in this short but intense amount of time. Neko, Sootie, Gussie, Sheba, Flame and now Doodles.
I felt like my chest was going to cave in when I read Marje's post. I really grieve along with everyone.

We all do. And for those of us that have been here a long time, and lost our own cats, it's all the more painful. But we have to keep on. There are still cats to be helped.

Yes, well that certainly is a big part of it. We all know the pain from losing their companionship because we've all experienced it.
It better to go through it together, that's for sure. And you're right, every day I see new people that need help and are finding it here

It is hard when we lose a furbaby. We all feel it, but this is a very loving community that helps support each other.

Number 3 it is. And I agree with all of you here that it's very hard to read about the losses. Very hard ...
