We had a rough night. I woke up at 1am to find Tucker had gone from 8.9 up to 18.2 in 3 hours. His extra eyelid was showing, he was flopsy and out of it. I did a number of tests and he came down a bit, but it was pretty upsetting. I know he was bouncing, and I know that the higher BG on a short term basis isn't going to hurt him, but it was still distressing. I offered him some cooked chicken during the wee hours as a 'How out of it is Tucker test" and he gobbled it up and went to sleep. So, that was a success. This morning he was at 16.8 (302). He ate a raw diet and is sleeping with Daisy now.
PMPS: 11.1 (200) +4 8.3 (149) so I followed him down. Well.......it's now 2am and my boy decides to hit the greens. 5.2 (94) at 2am is a tough one. I'm setting an alarm to retest him...Good thing he's cute....
