Luci is doing well, each day she takes a little dip in the lagoon! I ventured out yesterday to Trader Joe. Long line outside and everyone was standing 6 feet apart, thanks to the chalk marks on the sidewalk...it's amazing though, even with a footprint drawing of where people should stand, they do not know where to stand and stand between the lines or all around the lines, but not on the lines...duh..finally the store personnel have to come by and tell them to stand ON THE LINE, not behind the line, nor in front of the line, but ON THE LINE as that is the area that is 6 feet away from the next person standing in line in both directions...oh well, at least they were telling them...unlike Costco where from what I can see on TV people stand where ever and use their shopping carts as dividers...

Here's a pic of me waiting in line outside yesterday...oh what fun, huh? Look like I'm ready to rob the place!

Enjoy your day everyone. Stay in and stay safe!

You're quite the fashion statement Sue!! I love your hat and mask!! :)
I went into Quebec to do grocery shopping yesterday and lots of people are not respecting the physical distancing orders. It hasn't hit there yet, it's a small town over the Quebec border and I guess people feel lucky or invincible or something. From now on, I'm ordering online and picking up. ;)

So glad you're spending more and more time in the lagoon Luci!! :D

As long as you were SAFE .... I think your mask is very pretty, like the fishy!!:):)

Did the store have items or were the shelves empty?

Surf safely Luci:D:cool:

The store was very well stocked! They had plenty of everything - even TP - it really looks like the stores are starting to return to normal as far as their inventory goes. I do believe that everyone has enough TP to last well into the future. Perhaps that's why they aren't buying as much as they used to. Other items were in plentiful supply throughout the store. Let's hope 'empty-shelf' syndrome is behind us now.

Glad you like the mask! I made a few until I ran out of elastic...it was kinda fun! I think masks are going to be the order of the day now for going anywhere near other people...

Sorry to hear they're not getting the message. Almost everyone I encountered yesterday was wearing a mask...and many were wearing gloves. And for the most part everyone was keeping their distance - I am very aware of people and would stand back from the counters if there was someone else already there and I expected them to do the same for me - although some people seem oblivious to that rule and when I see them coming like I'm not there, I back up and usually say something to them....if they're in a hurry, then I can wait...

It is a statement huh? No need for makeup...sad to say...oh well..I just want to be safe from others and of course not share my germs either. :)

Have a great day Sonia!

Our Safeway store here isn’t stocked well. I went to Walmart to get what I needed. My mom went out yesterday to pick up a few things. She wore her mask and gloves. But she said people there aren’t social distancing. People reaching in front of her. That is in Nova Scotia. Here in BC up north we’re being pretty good with the social distancing.

I love the mask and hat, Luci is looking very good, here in N.J. most of our supermarkets are still empty, people were hoarding in the beginning, now if the trucks are late with the delivery's we are out of luck. Right now they are limiting TP, Paper towel, napkins, tissues to like 2 per person, I have been pretty lucky getting the cFancy Feast Pates

Oh there is no rice, frozen veggies , a lot of different foods that are note available
Yogurt was all gone
Soon maybe I'll start eating cat food oil,, Tyler and Perry will have to fight me for it though lol have a good night Sue

Sheesh...I'm sorry things are taking a while to get back to normal there. Yes, I saw the same hoarders here...people buying up tons of TP, and other paper products...I was kinda caught off guard and couldn't imagine why they were all buying so much! Even now, I still cannot imagine what they've done with all that stuff they bought..must have every room in their homes and condos stuffed to the gills with paper products! I hope the trucks will be in your area soon...gasoline is certainly cheap and the poor farmers with all their stuff...can't even sell it fast enough and are throwing it away - such a shame! I've seen no shortages whatsoever on cat foods - of any kind - not even in the beginning when people were buying up everything in sight...
