WCR: Most Ps in place. Got a few snuggles last night at bedtime, but nothing this morning...even at my short btb time. I took my car into the dealership this morning for 55,000 miles tune-up, ran my errands & now it's all about laundry & sewing & snuggling. I bought some Advantage II for Shasta...came in yesterday...put it on her about an hour ago and she acts as if she doesn't even know it's there. Normally, she would have freaked out & run away after I put it on her. Nope. Not today...she is sitting on my lap like a sweet kitty!
OT: This coming week we get slammed with testing...Florida Standards Assessment. I don't remember which tests are this week, but nonetheless, it's a massive inconvenience to all classes. The Music Assessments won't even be released to the schools until May 18th...seniors graduate on May 22nd. Needless to say, they are pissed that they will still have tests right up to graduation. I can't say as I blame them. These tests are ridiculous. I have a masters in music ed. and there are questions on the practice exams that I can't answer and/or don't have the accepted answers (poorly written questions & answers; too advanced for high school students). Goodness, I pray that these tests get squashed in the courts.
