It's better to be safe than sorry and have them high for a little bit than go low when we're not at home. Noodle will get back on track.
 
Thanks for the well wishes, Carla and Elise. I think she will get on track nicely once she's back on schedule. These PS drops she's throwing me are a real pain!

It's not phasing her one bit though, she was in great shape this morning, purring her way through the house and giving me lots of love, headbutts, and kisses. She's thoroughly enjoying open window weather and is keeping a close eye on all the birds in her trees, making sure to keep me updated on all their movements.
 
Funny how they don't care what their numbers are. :) Sweet girl. Hope she is back on track in no time!

She'll get back on track soon enough Patricia. They are little monsters sometimes for throwing unexpected numbers at just the wrong time. There's absolutely no way I could shoot anything under 50 and FWIW I think you handled the situation right including getting the insulin into her at +18 when she'd gone higher. :bighug:
 
Way to recover, Noodle! That PMPS is practically blue even with the new reduction and 18 hour cycle! Very glad I didn't shoot through the bounce now, @carfurby ! I'll be getting some early tests, since she's come down significantly in the last 8 hours.

ETA: I'm really appreciating the loving and headbutts from her.... but she likes to headbutt my mouth for a kiss on the head, and it's shedding time. This bean has had a faceful of fur since I got home from work! Time to break out the Furminator. :p
