Yesterday's Condo
AMPS isn't for another hour and a half, but I thought I would give you an update on how Sammy did yesterday. Most of the day was over 100, but again I think it was due to stress. We had people arriving all day and I think he really wanted to come out of the room. It was so hard not to let him, but we have one lady that is really allergic to cats and I just didn't want to risk it.
Last night after everyone arrived things settled down a bit, and after his shot he dropped down into the GREEN for almost the entire first part of the cycle. I think the second half might have been a bit higher because he didn't each much of his snacks over night. So this morning he was at 168. I gave him a small snack and will test for AMPS at 8:00 am, I am hoping to see that number come down a bit by then.
Today, is going to be another busy day. We have the rest of the weekend retreaters arriving today, so there will be lots of commotion downstairs. I know Sammy will want to join in. I feel so bad that he has to be locked in the room all the time. I am going to try to take him outside for a bit today. I need to try on the harness and make sure he won't be able to get out of it. Then we might go outside the yard for a bit.
Luckily we do have two windows that he can look out, and there are two skylights in the room that can be opened for fresh air.
He slept with me most of the night and didn't have to fight for my time with Crystal. LOL! He had me all to himself.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day. Our internet is very sporadic up here in the middle of now where. I am actually surprised that I have had a couple of times where I actually have LTE coverage and can get on the internet. So I take advantage when I can. LOL.
