Not too much to report here today. Trix wasn't feeling super-great last night...she was fine and quite spunky when we first got home, but then she seemed a bit punk after we did fluids and her meds. This isn't the first time this has happened (her starting off spunky then changing to punky after fluids and meds), but I have no idea if one of those two things is the cause. Sometimes I wonder if I get her in a bad spot with the fluids and that bothers her for a while. She has a very sensitive nervous system, and there are times when her fur/skin really start twitching when I hit certain spots. I don't know....typical L&LL bean here, always trying to figure out "why?".
When I got up this morning, she was waiting for me outside the bedroom door and looking very chipper. She was super snuggly, too. Her appy this morning is just about happy, but not off-the-charts ecstatic like it was yesterday morning. We do seem to be in an "ups and downs" phase, and that just may a factor of her age and health issues.
I would have liked to see her eat a little more before I left for work, and since she didn't, I'm going to run home early-afternoon-ish to give her a snack. It's probably not necessary, but I'm going to do it since I can do it.
No big updates on my Dad, although it does sound like his appetite is finally starting to get better. We'll have more info after the pulmonary appointment tomorrow.
We are still so very sad about Milo....our thoughts and prayer are with Meredith today....
Time to start working. Have a great day, L&LL!
