Happy Lupita Friday. Many healing vines to all in need especially Barsa, Shadow, Trix, Amy's Dad, Elise's Mom, and any others.

Lupita Friday has once again rolled around. Gracie was in the kitchen nook when Lupita came in today and her eyes, already rounder than most cats because she is a Scottish Fold, got even bigger and rounder. And then narrowed ugh......it's YOU! Lupita started talking to her in a very quiet voice saying sweet things to her. She walked ten feet into the den, sat, looked at Lupita really...you tink that makes Baby Girl yur fren? Lupita continued with her soft words. Gracie took one more look, turned and walked down the hallway to the guest room with one brief look over her shoulder, disdain on her lovely little face hisssssss! So there, Pita!

Oh the poor wee one today. She was squatted in her box and I hurriedly stuck a foil tray under her bottom to catch a sample for weekly ketone testing. Unfortunately, when I lifted it, the side of the tray opened up and pee fell out on her tail! :mad::mad: She gave me the stinkeye, for one brief moment, and when she was done, I scooped her up and bathed her tail. :cat::cat::joyful::joyful:

She had an inverted curve yesterday but since she's nadiring in 40s/50s I figure it is because the dose might be a titch high but she's coming up with 12% food so I'm not ready to reduce her just yet...I want her to earn it. She spent too much time in yellow earlier this year so I want her to have as much healing time as possible.

I've been working a lot this week and am working today but I'll be not he board tonight to check in with everyone. Have a great day.
 
Lupita Friday never disappoints. :)

Poor LBG, getting a tail bath! Sasha gets one every week or so - she loses her balance easily, and sometimes gets poo on her tail in the box. She does NOT appreciate Mama's ministrations! :rolleyes:

Getting ready for retirement shouldn't be this exhausting, should it? Oh well, you see the light at the end of the tunnel now, so I'm sure you're handling it all well. We do miss you, Mike, Tobey and Gracie, though!
 
:) I love Lupita Fridays. Poor Gracie. First she had to put up with Lupita and the she had to have her tail bathed.

You need to save the hisses and spits for that horrible cousin Gracie :joyful:

it just makes her all the more adorable!

Sweet numbers Gracie. Hissing becomes you, apparently! Lupita, o.k. Mama...not so much. Maybe. Unless she deserves it!

Twin 88s at pre-shots today. Way to go, baby girl :D:D

Lest I was unclear today, Gracie didn't hiss at me; she hissed at Lupita who is her favorite Friday victim. I'm totally back in her good graces and I've gotten nothing but love (well...and the stinkeye over the whole tail incident) since the hiss last week.

And Bron is so right....Gracie needs to save the hisses for the horrible cousin! :joyful::joyful::joyful:
 
How wonderful of Gracie to give you such great PS numbers today. After all she's been through, Lupita, pee on her tail, having her tail washed!!! Hope you get your work done, Marje!
 
Too funny on the tail spillage and the Lupita goings on! You really did deserve a stinkeye for that one Marje :)

Like Anne I'm wondering if you told Lupita that your little princess hissed at you last week? It would have to make Lupita feel a little better about copping it.
