4/18/17,Sprocket, AMPS/345.+2.5/262, +5 75/212. PMPS/230, +2.25/290.+4.5/378. 3.25u confused

At +3 he is 262. Gave food half a can at 10am and he ate some but walked away. Might have been the overhead jet noise but he will usually go back n get food once they leave.
He had about 2.5oz this morning before this meal. He looks good. Taking a nap on the table.
I got about 8 hours of sleep broken up but I feel more human n normal today. Hope this is the beginning of normalcy.

Hope his body is getting used to these lower numbers and being ok with them.
He got his ursodiol last night too.

Can the ondansetron be crushed & syringed in tuna juice if need be??

You could try tasting it yourself and if it's very bitter it probably wouldn't work in tuna juice.
 
He is lower at pmps today. 230.
I think antibiotic had effect on his bg.
He looks better. At 230. I hope he wont go too much down. This morning he went about 130 points that i know of.

Nervous some about 3.25u.
 
Yes, shoot the 3.25U. It's good that he's a bit lower tonight! This is what you want-- sounds like he is feeling better.

Make sure to get a +2 and beyond (if necessary). Yay Sprocket!
 
Looking good so far. If he starts to drop near 120 or below, then give him a little extra to eat with maybe a little higher carb food to prevent from going any lower than that. Although we like green numbers for healthy cats, it's better to be in the blues post DKA for a few weeks.
 
Not happening yet. Just did +4.5/378.
Did a fur shot last night.
I fed some kitten proplan focus, 2carb tonight. Figured a higher protein would be good.
If missed fur shots and wrong med doses (i gave .05ml instead of .5ml of cyproheptadine appetite stim for Sunday) Would stop maybe we can get numbers from his body & not from my screw ups.
I feel bad
