Back into the green - yay! I swear, in the few days between his vet visit on Friday and his bad days on Monday & Tuesday, he lost 4-5 oz. - roughly what he had gained over the last month! It's still kind of shocking how quickly he took a turn for the worse. At least he has bounced back almost as quickly, but the weight loss is more disturbing. We've been trying and trying to get this boy to put on some weight; at 8.4 lbs at his last visit, he's still about a pound under his optimal weight. Eating is not a problem - he rarely misses a meal - but we just don't seem to be getting enough calories into him. Is there a more calorie dense but low-carb food we can give him?
