Friday's Condo
Happy Saturday everyone! Finally a day off work! Woo hoo!!!
Although I have to admit I spent the first hour of this day off, cleaning my email basket of all those emails that I didn't take time to look at earlier in the week - ready to begin a new week of fun now...
Luci is holding her own lately - a nice relaxing day at the beach yesterday, which is what her mama wishes for too! I'm excited to hear that our community leaders are in discussions about how to go about re-opening the beaches in a thoughtful and controlled fashion. I know that the entire state will be watching how the opening at Jacksonville beaches proceeds - if beachgoers will behave and abide by the guidelines to continue social distancing and will use the beaches for exercise and not congregating and partying. If they have success then I'm sure our beaches will soon follow with openings! I can't wait!
I believe this next week will continue to be a decreasing number of new cases - there are more discharges from our hospital than admissions! This is really good news and it makes me feel hopeful.
Luci just needs to lose those yellow bookends she's so fond of...but otherwise she seems to be feeling very well. The runs around the house with the zoomies and is full of purrs and happiness when we pick her up for her tests!
