Good morning everyone,
Hope you and your sugar kitties all have a great day. Lulu is starting off in the blue again today. She's still not thrilled about getting poked and injections. Whenever she hears the microwave beep (rice sock warming), she hides -- she used to hide under one of the dining room chairs, now she takes off and hides under the coffee table. Poor thing, I need to keep reminding myself that all this is for the good of her health. Thankfully, she forgives quickly, right now she's lying beside me purring up a storm. I so love this little girl ...

I always try to give Furball lots of loving before and after her test. Freeze-dried treats help too. I try to make it something Furball doesn't mind. She looks forward to her PS tests because I take her in the kitchen by herself and love on her.

Wendy, I was fast asleep when your message arrived, poor Lulu did not get another test. I need to understand what constitutes a big drop, I feel so bad taking such a risk :(. Thankfully, she`s okay this morning, purring away beside me as I type this.
A drop of 100 points is usually considered a big drop. It's also a getting to know your cat thing. You'll learn as you go along. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Thanks Carla. Everyday I learn more and more from you guys :bighug:
Lulu gets freeze dried treats as a reward for enduring the poking and the shots -- she loves Orijen Wild Boar. Of course, Otis and Coco show up whenever the treats come out, so they each get one, but Lulu gets two. I`ll take your suggestion on pouring on the lovin and the scritches before her pokes, rather than just after.
How`s your little Furball today? Looks like she had a pretty good day yesterday, I see a few green entries on her SS.

Lulu`s been blue all day so far. Tomorrow Mama wants to go hiking, so here`s hoping for no BG swings, little girl.

Her +2.5 number looks good at 115, no big drop so I think I'll be able to make the hike (unless something wonky happens with her morning test number).
Of course they will all get their usual brekky, and then I'm going to load the timed feeder (what an excellent machine this is) before I leave.
Thanks, Julie, have a lovely weekend.
Lori
