Thanks, Marilyn. Had a great hike, saw two bald eagles sitting on their nest. It`s always thrilling to see wildlife, I get so excited over stuff like this. Came home to find Lulu in green at+9 and still green at her PMPS test I just took. Going to be keeping a close eye on her over the next few hours.
Looks like Polly had a good day .
 
We were at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, about 1/2 hour west of Calgary. Attaching a photo, a bit blurry.

I'm in western Oregon and one time had a bald eagle flying over my car while driving down I-5. It was incredible. A friend owns a birding store and he said bald eagles are making quite a comeback and becoming more common around here.

Sounds like a wonderful place to hike.
 
I can`t wait until I can get out to hike in our Canadian Rockies -- now those are some magnificent hikes. I`ve seen moose, coyotes, bear (both black & grizzly), weasels, foxes, elk, deer, the list goes on....It truly is magnificent. I`ve been to Western Oregon once a long, long time ago, but remember it as a beautiful place, I`d love to live near the ocean. Well, I`m off to do a +3.5 test on my girl...result was 61.

I hope Lulu surfs safely while you're out. Enjoy your hike.

I tried to post this yesterday and just found it didn't go through. I'm glad Lulu was safe and you had a good hike.
