Hi Peg, no but it's only the second ..... just gave her a little gravy snack as I have to go out for about 3 hours, +7 was 101 but great numbers today, very happy.

Whoa Crystal!! That green looks so pretty on you!!! :D:D:D

I bet no one was expecting that -- which, of course, is why Crystal threw you that curve ball, Suki.

Acro/IAA cat mantra: expect the unexpected!

Hi Tina and Suzanne, great numbers for Crystal today, totally unexpected as you say Suzanne. I like the mantra, I think I might adopt it for her. She would probably have surfed green a bit more but I had to go out this afternoon for 3 hours so I broke out the gravy food, which she adores, just to keep her on the safe side until my return. Lets hope she doesn't bounce tonight, paws crossed.

Chances are you probably didn't need the gravy treat. I might have left her with some extra food, not necessarily higher carb food. But safety first -- always!

Good call indeed on no R this morning! Since she was coming down all night and lowest at preshot and blue, that was well played.

I was peaking in earlier from my iPad to see that Crystal was in green. What a way to make my day! :D:D I think you did exactly the right thing by giving her the HC when you couldn't be around. Until you learn her patterns in green, I'd be cautious too. Some people with acrocats have reported that their cat goes down after feeding LC - the speculation is the working pancreas. Not something you necessarily want when they are already green. With the high dose and likely IAA in play, caution is best until you get more experience with green. Which I'm sure you will, now that we see what this Lev dose can do when the R knocks down the resistance.:)

Sandy always said to "go with the flow" with IAA. I like "expect the unexpected" too.

@Ruth, Tina and Marilyn - thanks for cheering Crystal on today, didn't she do well, and a special thank you to Suzanne for summing it up exactly (look in our signature line).
@Wendy&Neko, thank you Wendy for your words of encourgement - a good day for me and more importantly, for Crystal. I'll wait and see where she is in the morning before considering any R, if she's over about 260 I'll probably give her a dose. Just going to give her a bedtime test, a cuddle and a little snack and then off to my bed, been a long (exciting) day.
