The last week has been tough. Jones is not doing well on the budesonide. His appetite is off. He is losing weight. I think he may have lymphoma and based on discussions with DH...we are going back to the prednisolone. We hope things improve. His BG numbers are not improving and in fact his drinking and peeing has increased. All not good signs. So will give the pred a few days and then see about doing a possible dose increase back to the .1 less 6 drops maybe? Any thoughts are welcome.

Feeling very worried.

I am sorry the budesonide doesn't seem to be working. It helped Neko, but probably not as much as pred could have if she could have taken it. Have you ever thought about getting a biopsy or endoscopy to confirm IBD or lymphoma?

Sometimes you just have to give pred and work the dose around it. Treat the bigger issues.

We have...I think the dental is as far as I want to go with putting him under. It wouldn't change much in our approach I think. We still have the Leakeran that we could add. Up the pred if needed.
