4/5 Frank AMPS 369 PMPS 405

    I fed Frank last night, hoping to ward off low BGs while I slept. Nevertheless, the nagging worry woke me up and I tested at 4AM and got 318. I'm glad he's not red this AM but wonder if the food raised his AMPS.

    BTB for a while..just not waking up.

    I doubt that food at +4 was still influencing numbers at AMPS. What you probably were seeing when you tested prior to AMPS was just the Lantus wearing off toward the end of the cycle. For some kitties, a mini-meal at +9 can help to drop the AMPS number since food can help to stimulate a working pancreas to produce insulin that will naturally drop numbers.

    Not much movement today....almost a duplicate of 4/2.
