4/9 | Moose | PMPS = 151

Good morning, kitties and beans!

TODAY IS MOOSE'S BIRTHDAY! He is a young 13 years old I can tell he is trying to hide is age, as I found that he had shed one of his two white whiskers. He's always been prematurely gray though

I am so lucky to have adopted such an incredible cat. I remember the day that I chose him (or, as they say, he chose me!) Actually, the credit goes to my mom. I was 15 years old and dating my first "real" boyfriend. His cat had recently had kittens, and I was intent on bringing one home with me. My mom was sitting out in the car, waiting to pick me up from my boyfriend's house. I brought each kitten out to her so that she could meet all of them. All of the kittens did as kittens do...they were squirmy and trying to climb all over my mom and mewing away. Except for Moose. He plopped right on my mom's shoulder and stayed there. No mewing, so squirming. Just straight chilling. My mom said, "He's the one."

No I cannot.

I left him some Rad Cat out...I'm not sure what to do DBF is home today, he doesn't know how to test but I can have him keep feeding Moose and keep an eye on him until I can come home for lunch.

 

So glad someone will be home with him! That should be enough to keep him out of trouble. With these numbers, I'd be inclined to let the BF carb him up this morning, who knows what Moose has planned?

 

Moose!! Where's the fire?? Time to go back to the drop dose. Hopefully you can do that until the PS numbers settle down.

 

Me too, I felt so bad just leaving him...I sent DBF a message to give him the HC as soon as he wakes up.

 

Well, sounds like Moose is going to have a happy birthday indeed!!!

 

The drop dose seemed to work very well for him last time, I hope that it will do the same this time!

 

Hahaha, who needs a cake when you have cheddar gravy food?

 

Any updates?

 

DBF fed him more HC food. Unfortunately I was not able to go home @ lunch to check on him. DBF has been home all day though and keeping an eye on him. Said he would let me know immediately if anything seemed off and would keep feeding him mini meals. I am going to teach DBF how to test when I get home.

 

Happy Birthday, Moose! It wouldn’t be a party without the Moose show! I love his adoption story.
