They said I could call anytime........

He is resting now, but she said earlier he was biting on his cage, so that had to be a collar on him so he couldn't do that . I had felt ok when we left cause he had calmed down a lot and was just sleeping in his carrier -- zipped open at top. Now feeling bad. I left his snuggle bed made by heather and mr. tubs there for him.
They gave his meds earlier -- they said they might put him on a different sced then the crazy hours I am up to give them I said that was fine. Maybe it will get me on a better sced when he comes home?

Plan is to be on IVs overnight ( for some reason he has been holding his urine past 2 days ( eta -- clarification. did not hold for 2 days. held for long periods of time and didn't go as much in last 2 days) that he tanked. He finally went -- both ways-- while I was still there. But they couldn't palpitate the mass my vet found or much of anything cause his bladder was so full. ) They said he hasn't gone again since on the IVs.
Tomorrow will be looked at by IM specialist and u/s. they might not get to it all until early afternoon and will call me after.

I hope the find something that is an easy fix / patch up.
He is a pewter grey guy and dark dark grey gums. --- but they were very pale. HCT I got from my vet was 17 :( But they did say that alone would not account for his symptoms.

Everyone super nice. He was there a few years ago for a scope . But they have a new very large very state of the art hospital now. Hadn't been in it before. Much nicer than most people hospitals..... as it should be.

I brought all his meds and was going over them w/ the vet and giving him instructions on how to use. It was kinda of funny. Helped to alleviate some of the stress.
I even offered him some journal papers on some of Wolfie's health issues. was a very nice er vet.

It was time -- past time for him to be fed. I brought some of his wellness and (eta force) fed him w a tech watching so she could see what he was used to. they said on phone they fed him a bit more later.( eta. again this was force not eating on own . but it is still eating ! )
going to have to pick up more cans if he stays longer.

stayed a bit longer. hard to leave. got home after midnight.
house feels naked w/o any cats in it.

Please keep those positive vibes and prayers and good wishes and what have you for Wolfie coming.
Thanks again for all your help and support.

If he's going to be there much longer, you might trying bringing in a t-shirt or something similar that you haven't washed yet. Leave it in the cage with him, so he'll be able to smell you even when you aren't there; that often helps them relax. I sometimes bring in a couple of t-shirts, so they can swap them if the first gets pee'd on or something.

((hugs)) to you and Wolfie --
