Started a new Levemir pen last night. Ravan's bg is coming down. Might have been the insulin causing the rise in BG ? I've never had a problem with insulin in 2 years. I use every drop. I was down to a very small amount in the pen.
I hope that was what caused the problem.
Just found out my long time Veterinarian has retired! I'm so upset,been crying all morning. He is the best Vet I've ever had. Always willing to listen to my ideas & didn't hesitate to say ,OK lets try that. His clinic was only 5 mins from my house.
I'm happy for him that he gets to retire but now I have no idea where to go. He's been my Vet over 20 years.
I will miss him very much!

So sorry for you !! A good vet is not easy to replace! Hope you'll be lucky and find one who understands your needs! Maybe the one who will be taking over his clinic will be a good one...

Oh boy, that's a bummer about your Vet. A good Vet's like a good pair of shoes....they're familiar and don't rub you the wrong way after some break in time. Could you ask him or his staff for a referral to a Vet that can accomodate y'all? He may have someone that he thinks will fit purrfectly, like a well broken in pair of shoes.
On a brighter note, thank goodness Ravan's getting back to himself. Those green PS are a thing of beauty!

I'm so sorry to hear your vet is retiring Let's hope that his replacement is as good or is willing to learn to become as good.
