Well, we're off to a great start for year 4!!....Maybe this will be China's year to go OTJ?? (no, I don't really expect it, but I haven't given up on the idea either!!)

China dear....Mama would really love to have an OTJ video.....think you could work on that for her??

Got a little worrying news today...in 10 minutes I had both the results nurse and my primary doctor calling me about my mammography results. Have to set up an appointment for an ultrasound and another, more specific mammography in the next few weeks

I'm not freaking out though....Breast cancer doesn't run in our family so I'm hoping they just aren't sure what they're seeing and being extra careful about it....but still, it's not the kind of thing you really want to deal with :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Hope you're all having a nice Fursday and your kitties are being good!! China's on duty at the lagoon, keeping her eyes on all the swimmers today!!
 
Chris, Sending lots of positive vines your way that the doctors are just being a little over cautious. Keep on working towards making that video!

About your bad news, I am going to assume that you had a screening mammo and that it was either film or just digital, but not 3D. You may already know this but 80 + % of call backs turn out to be benign or just cysts or just shadows on the pictures or movement when taking the picture. When you reschedule, they will do a more extensive mammo called a diagnostic mammo and hopefully it will be a 3 D machine if the other one was not and if they see more, then the ultrasound will follow. I know way more about this than the average person so if I can help or do anything for you, please contact me.

Yes, that sounds like what they're planning....they also said they're going to do the ultrasound at the same time so I'll be having both when I get them scheduled
 
{{{Chris}}} I know it's not possible to keep from stressing some about this, but I agree with the others that most of the time there's a very benign reason for a repeat request. I've had it happen to me, too. I'll start the prayersand vines now, though, so they'll pile up.

China, you're looking lovely today. Harvey enjoyed hanging out with you at the lagoon. Hopefully you two will be spending a lot more time there together.

Hard not to worry a little about the re-test. But it's true. Most are just a "well, we better take a better look" with nothing extraordinary resulting. Got the vines going, though!

Yay for China! Rosie is at 100 right now and if she makes it to the freen she can join China for a swim. I hear they are considering synchornized swimming.
