5/15 Ming PMPS = 322, +5 = 74 he's going to have one heck of a bounce...

Hi! I don't know who else is up right now but I am, do you need some company as you manage things, or are you going back to sleep, or...? I haven't decided how soon to sleep yet but I'd be glad to stay up if you need any support. :)

Having been so very not used to those numbers, my heart bounced (like skipped a beat in panic) and Alice definitely hit some annoying HI points, bouncing back, from those. She bounced from the blues, too, because her shorter acting insulin just had never regulated her right.
 
Thank you @AliceMeowliss&Cassandra !! I’ll be staying up as long as I can until Ming is safe. He’s due for another reading in half an hour.

I did end up giving him some higher carb food because the drop is so crazy I’ll need to steer it with food.

Ming likes to be extremely dramatic ... don’t stay up on account of me! I have in the past had to do these pj parties with Ming.
 
I still know how lonely it can be when you're up and worried, though!
I will be sure to check back for the next test. I realized if I stay up another 45 min ill get a +5, myself, too.

I'm kind of a sucker about giving out higher carb food when Alice hits that first green. I get scared. The benefit to Lantus I've noticed though is that even when she drops, she seems to do some smooth surfing at those lower levels, too. Hopefully Ming pulls back up a bit! What higher percentage carbs did you feed?

Ming is on Levemir so around this time is actually supposed to be his onset time so he’s got a LOOOOONG way to go... aka a long night for myself :facepalm:

I can’t remember the percentage of HC but I mixed some LC FF with some FF gravy. I put about a tbsp of HC with the regular FF pate to make a medium carb food.

I’ll be grabbing another test in an hour and see what Ming is doing. I probably will do hourly tests all night if I can. Sigh... I’m tired but I’ll do what I have to to keep Ming safe.
 
I have been there with the hourly tests all night, for sure! And duh, yes, Levemir, I see it now in your signature. I didn't realize its onset was so much later/different?

I label all my cans by carb percentage with a sharpie marker, so the other house person does not get confused. But I have done the same, HC/LC mix. Personally, I enjoy the math of it. :D

So one hour after the food mix, he's only up a little? Darn! At least he isn't any lower!!!!! and it's time for my +5. :)

Sweet little Ming :cat:, he proved me right; at least, that's a pattern he seems to follow! After that he'll probably bounce a bit so you'll have a break today.
You were right by tying Ming:D and Ti-Mousse :), we would definetely get nice blues!:cool::cool:
