What a crazy busy day! Ok so tonight I am going to the gym and will be home just after 630 ( 20 min late ) to check PMPS and give insulin. I'll be packing tonight for my trip. Tomorrow morning is my same routine, will post her AMPS info, give her .25 micro shot and leave out extra food but then I'll be off the board for the most part until Tuesday again. Hubby flies home tomorrow night - should be home by 830pm central time ( praying that he's not delayed ). He will do a PMBG check but NO insulin will be given. He will resume normal insulin Saturday at 615am shot time and do the usual AMPS and PMPS checks. With us going back down to the .25 I'm not anticipating any issues. Does he need to check as often or would the AMPS and maybe a +3 be good and then do a PMPS and another +3 for the evening? I did run out today and picked up 8 cans of the fancy feast gravy lovers to have on hand just incase of anything we're fully stocked.
I left him with my log in information for the spreadsheet and he will be texting me that info - I can update the spreadsheet now that I have that on my ipad figured out. I will also leave him with my log in for this board but I'm hoping he won't need to use it. IF he does, it won't be in the correct format with posting the link to the last condo - please be patient with him - if he's posting there is an issue so hopefully we're all quiet and if I have time I can quickly post for the day but no guarantees.

I think you have a good plan. If it already hasn't been mentioned, I would leave a print out of the hypo instructions in easy view and a sample syringe with colored water of your new latest dose.
Have fun, and I hope Aurora will surf and surf real nice while you're away. We promise to be patient and nice to your DH ;)
 
Ok so tonight PMPS was higher at 182. I didn't test her like crazy today, the 2 tests I did she was surfing in the lagoon and looking good. Right before I left the house at 5:15pm she threw up another hair ball - I don't know what the deal is, she's been puking hairballs like crazy these past few weeks. Poor thing - maybe that's what drove up her PMPS number a little?
 
The hairball could have increased her BG. Now that it's out, hopefully she will slide on down.

It's spring and the cats are shedding and so, hairballs. What a cute tortie she is.

I'm really paranoid about tomorrow how much extra food do I leave out? I dint have an auto feeder - typically I have been giving them 1 can of wild calling and I split that among the 2 girls. Tiki cat aloha friends is a smaller can same size as the fancy feast gravy lovers should I leave 2 of those out? Maybe 1 in basement by auroras chair? They have all day when I leave house at 615 am tomorrow and dh won't be home till aprox 830-9pm
 
If it was me, I'd feed MC or HC mixed with regular breakfast then leave out higher carb foods for them until your DH gets home. Cats know when you're leaving.

Good idea! Should I use the fancy feast gravy lovers and leave that open? I also have the other food I gave last night that one has gravy also.
 
I don't see a condo for today yet. I'm sorry nobody answered your question. It was your decision what you are comfortable leaving available for the cats to eat until your DH gets home tonight.
