Good afternoon everyone.
Here's Zeke's condo from Day 8 (I didn't post one yesterday as I had outstanding questions on the Day 8 post) http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...y-8-should-we-be-worried.138015/#post-1423709
Day 9 Recap: 120 AMBG; 76 PMBG
Was happy to see a lower BG this morning (even if just a little lower). DH took Zeke to the vet this morning. Unfortunately, he had an empty bladder so they weren't able to run any urine tests. They did BW and the creatinine and BUN were the same as that from March. So we didn't really get any answer as to the cause of his current tummy issues.
Vet didn't feel any obstruction. For the diarrhea she prescribed Metronidazole (250mg, 1/4 tab x 2 per day). I was just curious, is this like a go-to, standard med for diarrhea? Isn't this an antiobiotic? Should she have done a specific test to insure that this AB is the right med for his current condition?
The plan is to clear up the tummy issues first and then we can start trying to identify the cause of his weight loss. Guess there a several possible scenarios - we'll just have to rule them out one a time.
Well, continued OTJ Trial vines for Eddie. No doubt (anti-jinx) that we're just a few short days away from a PARRRRR-TEEEEEE!!!!!

No way I was gonna eat that. Fortunately, mama has these delicious duck and pea pill pocket treats. Yummy! Thanks for visiting Lori & Lulu.
