If I were you, if I could I would. Rex isn't bouncing much anymore so if you have the luxury of checking on him mid-day, I'd say take it.Do you think I should check on him around lunch time?
I think I will, just to be sure he's okay.If I were you, if I could I would. Rex isn't bouncing much anymore so if you have the luxury of checking on him mid-day, I'd say take it.
I did! I think they are trying to kill us LOLDid you see my comment in my condo last night about Rex and Gordy? LOL
I 'd feed a little, 51 is LimeI ended up going home early with a bad headache. Rex was 85 when I got home. Now he's 51. Do I let him cruise or feed?
Not with a human meter.I 'd feed a little, 51 is Lime
You certainly know what you do and know Rex wellNot with a human meter.
Thank you for your reply. I'm testing again at +7.5. I need to know if he can surf if I work all day.You certainly know what you do and know Rex well
I am cautious type CG, and looking at the 41 and 44 late in cycle of 4/29 and 4/30 I'd feel compelled to feed a little.
But again, you know what to do best.
At 50 the cell would be lime green I think. A little snack would be a good idea. Not with a human meter.
OK. However, you'd want him to surf with a bit of a margin, not threatening to dip into shark-infested waters.Thank you for your reply. I'm testing again at +7.5. I need to know if he can surf if I work all day.
Nope, Rex thought after he made me think he's safe, he would go visit the sharks after all.I do wonder if Rex visited the sharks between +4 and +7 during my nap to sleep off the headache.
I know!Argh....Rex Rex Rex...you're a little stinker.

That's my plan. 4 reductions in 6 days. Slow down, Rex!Reduction to 2 u?

He's on a mission!I know!

In retrospect, I would have fed him and kept him surfing to give him a least a few cycles with this new dose since this is only 3rd cycle with it. As we have said before, when they get reductions too close together, it can fail. But, since Rex is our resident Trickster......and is on a mission......and hit the 40's today, you should reduce. The worse thing that can happen is the reduction fails and you have to take him back up again. But, Rex is going to prove us wrong.I ended up going home early with a bad headache. I struggled with that. In my mind, if I had run home at +6, would he have been higher before he took a dive? I wouldn't have known and wouldn't have fed before going back to work. He keeps me guessing. One day, he rises and the next day, he drops. His nadir is all over. Let's hope the new reduction holds. In retrospect, I would have fed him and kept him surfing to give him a least a few cycles with this new dose since this is only 3rd cycle with it. Rex looks so alike to your kitty! Who's that?
I just don't want to see you have a failed reduction and go into higher numbers and then have to reel him back in. It is easier to help them surfing than to try to bring them down again. If he is after another reduction, it will be more difficult to keep him above 50, for instance, more frequent feedings and higher carb food.I take that this is an active cycle. I had a post asking if it was, but it didn't post.
No, I didn't feed. I should though. Just tired of constantly boosting him up. I should have done the 50/50 mix.
I am not understanding the last sentence. Can you clarify? If he is after another reduction, it will be more difficult to keep him above 50, for instance, more frequent feedings and higher carb food.
I am not understanding the last sentence. Can you clarify?
Yes, I understand now. But how could that be if I just reduced tonight's dose? I know the depot is in play...So, if you have to keep feeding him to keep his head above water and or/ bring out the higher carb food and you have to keep repeating that, then he is really begging for another reduction. Does that make sense?
Yes , the depot will still be at play. If we can keep him surfing, that is ideal . But, when they are racing down the dosing ladder it is harder to keep their heads above 50 no matter how frequently you feed and or even if it is higher carb food. It will reveal itself to you as the cycle plays out. My point is if you can keep him surfing that is the best option now. But if our Trickster wants yet another reduction he will let you know no matter what you do to hold it off.Yes, I understand now. But how could that be if I just reduced tonight's dose? I know the depot is in play...
Panicking! I just fed MC food just after +2 and I have 36!But if our Trickster wants yet another reduction he will let you know no matter what you do to hold it off.
Wait a minute, weren't you supposed to be resting?Ok, so he didnt drop more. HC probably hasnt hit yet either. I'd test again in 20
But no one responded, i didnt want to leave you hanging!Wait a minute, weren't you supposed to be resting?
