Last condo

It's been a while since my last condo... but nothing much has happened. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like taking care of Mandarin's infected mouth and removing all of his remaining teeth was the magic fix. :arghh: But the good news is that he seems to be feeling well and his mouth has healed nicely. It's also been a week since he has seen any pink... so I guess that's progress. He still likes to drop low at night though and run higher during the day.

I had to go out of town for a conference last weekend and I slept 10 hours straight when I got to the hotel. I guess my body really needed a night where I didn't have to get up every two hours.

Walter needs another dosecrease, but I am holding off until the weekend. I am teaching a summer class and I am gone until +4 most days. I really want to be home to monitor when I take his dose back up.

I haven't had much of a chance to visit lately - but I hope that all the cats and their beans are doing well.
 
I hope Mandarin's numbers come back down and he won't need to stay on the juice much longer. I had to start Furball back on insulin too. I'm glad Mandarin is feeling better. I don't blame you for waiting to increase Walter until you can monitor more.
 
Morning Christina! I'm sorry to hear that the dental didn't help Mandarin's BGs:( But I'm glad he is feeling well.

So unhappy to hear that Mandarin is back on insulin for awhile, and @carfurby - really bummed furball is back on the juice as well. Not that I even think about remission for Murphy, but it seems to be such a delicate state. There have been such advances in type 2 human diabetes lately - with new classes of drugs now available. Fingers crossed at some point soon our kitties will also get to benefit from the new drugs
 
So sorry that the dental didn't fix Mandarin's need for juice (yet), but so glad he's feeling good! Wow, I cannot even imagine what it is like to sleep 10 straight hours (or anything beyond 4-5 straight hours)....I think my body would go into shock.

I hope Lenny and the others are doing well!
 
Walter looks pretty decent on the 1.5. Sure all normal numbers would be great but Walter is Walter. With the 2 recent BCS's and the skip I'd hold off a bit too before increasing personally. I'm glad Mandarin is all healed up and doing good from the dental. He's looking pretty good too Christina. Both you're boys just like to do things in their own time. Extra scritches to all your babies.
 
Progress is progress!!! That is a word we like to hear on here.....
10 hours that must of been heavenly!!!!!

Oh no - I am so sorry. I definitely have some catching up to do. I hope that Furball is doing a better job than Mandarin working the juice. Today turned into a particularly crappy cycle. Not sure if he dropped even lower late in the PM or what triggered this bounce, but I am not liking it one bit.

So far she is stuck in yellow, but I keep giving fur shots where I'm not used to shooting.

Sorry about the bounce today. I hope Mandarin comes back down and surfs.
