REALLY not diggin' today's AMBG....c'mon, Trix, enough messing with MamaBean! She did come down to 105 at PMBG last night...not green but at least it was better than yesterday's AMBG. But, I could also tell that yesterday she was off....low energy (relative term for her), appy not so great, etc. Plus, we had two "butt hanging over the box" pees - one close to bedtime, the other overnight. So I suspect she was having some bladder discomfort which was causing the issues, and hopefully the numbers, too.

Today, though, she seems much better. No problem hopping in the box to pee; nice solid appy, etc. But still with the ugly AMBG. I am wondering if she may have crystals causing bladder irritation, and once the crystal (or crystals) passes, she bounces back. We are only 6 days out since her last dose of AB, and vetty said we have to wait at least 7-10 days before running urinalysis and/or C&S, so we are still in a holding pattern with that. Tomorrow is her next Adequan injection.

I'm already running late...prayers to all....

ETA - @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) -I agree, "crack" is better than no food at all. It took me a while to come to terms with that, but a cat has got to eat, and unlike dogs they WILL starve themselves before caving and eating something they don't want to. Noah and Zen will have licks of wet, but if I serve it up, they won't eat nearly enough to survive (I tried every trick on Dr Lisa's site and then came up with a few of my own). This was all years ago, long before Trix's FD. Unfortunately all my efforts to convert them created a lot of cat food anxiety for me, and probably for them, too.....

Poor Trixie! Hope the C & S shows no more infection and perhaps it is just irritation causing uncomfortableness and the numbers to be elevated. I used organic blue berry powder in Forrest food daily for the longest time to prevent any sturvite crystals from forming. He never had another issue. I then discovered Wellness puts cranberry in their food for just that reason to make the urine more acidic so crystals can't form. If you have food restrictions the blueberry powder is an easy solution and is the D Mannose.

I'm glad Miss Trix has perked up today and hope it was just a fluke with her pee's yesterday. Luckily there are "better" dry food options out there now then before. Wet or dry, cat food and their eating habits are still annoying :p:p Have a good day Amy :bighug::bighug:

I'm happy that Trixie is doing better today! Trixie....stop messing with your Bean and bring those BGs back down please!
