I updated her SS and calculated her weight gain since 5/11. She is currently gaining at an approximate weight of a quarter kg or half a pound per week. Today she feels fatter around her hind area, just a bit, and that part of her was so unbelievably hollowed, before....... <3
Current weight 2.81kg / 6lbs 3oz
She’s also eating about 3 cans of friskies 4% per day.
I have been waiting for my vet to return to the office to schedule her surgery for her mammary lump removal and biopsy and spay. I’ve never had her cut on and it scares me. She has never had anesthesia. I am wondering what her recovery will be like. I admit I have been thankful for extra sleep lately. The severe level of sleep deprivation from the date of DKA and for about 5 weeks after, I rarely got one single sleep cycle (3-5 hours) in. It was brutal. But so, so, SO worth it.
