Noodle surprised me last night on her skinny dose with a 43 at shot time! I wasn't able to delay thanks to some meetings today, so I went ahead and skipped and fed her her PM meal with a drop of Karo to bring her up. In a perfect world, I'd have liked to see if she was on her way up without food or at least without carbs, but I was exhausted and know that as long as she was up in the 1st half hour she would stay up, especially with her normal +2 meal on the way. It didn't affect her BG too much this AM, which is nice. Unfortunately, I remain exhausted because the dog decided to putter around in his crate all night which kept my husband up, which kept me up.

She's now more cooperative for testing, so I'll be ramping that up again, but the 43 makes me want to keep her on this "skinny" dose for the time being. I'll need to remeasure the dose on our calipers to make sure it's consistent. (@Sarah and Blaze - I'll be using your tips!!) I'd like to confirm my suspicions that her nadir is often pretty late in the cycle in the coming weeks. Does this sound like a good plan to anyone else?
She's steadily getting more active, too, so I've got to keep an eye on her. She can get up on things easily, but doesn't seem as confident getting down. These stitches can't come out soon enough!!
