Good morning, all!

I have been quiet the last few days because Rex had been in very good numbers.

However, this morning, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw 147 so I retested and got 140! He hadn't been that high in a long while. :eek: I immediately looked over and sure enough, there was still dog food left in the dish. :banghead: I hope that's the culprit!! Rex was only 61 and 53 yesterday.
 
Don't panic. You have a possible reason why he's higher. He's not that high. Test again in 2 to 3 hours and see if he has come back down. However, it could take 24 hours for the dog food to clear his system. :bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Carla! Unfortunately, I can't retest in 2-3 hours because I went to work. We will see where he is at for PMBG. Usually the dog is good about eating all his breakfast and dinner, but he didn't eat much yesterday.
 
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw your thread title. You are probably on to the culprit and like Carla said, give it 2 -3 hours to see if he has come back down. Don't be surprised if it takes a day or so to clear the carbs.
