Marshmellow is on the down-slope of another bounce. I still think it may be because I had to give her insulin one hour early. Next time I will plan better, if I know I'll have to give her insulin early, I will start the day before and make small adjustments to keep the times closer to a full 12 hours. Today's AMPS was at 5:30, will get PMPS at 5:45.
 
You may want to keep in mind that an early shot acts like a dose increase. A late shot is like a reduction. Moving in 15 minute increments doesn't affect most cats. She could be experiencing some NDW from the early shot. Sometimes we just have to shoot early or late and we can't alway make an adjustment. Keep this in mind for the future in case you have to shoot early again and can't plan it out. It may require extra testing. I hope she slides down today.
 
Morning Steve :coffee::coffee::coffee: I can sympathize... many a time I had to shoot Mannie early, just because that is the way the days flowed. He didn't seem to mind, some cats don't. maybe it will be the same for Marshmellow. The 15, or even 30 minute interval adjustments work well for most cats. It is ncie when akitty can just go with the flow... ;) I hope she will come down for you today.

I was assuming an early shot might be like an increase, and unfortunately, since I was not here, I don't know where the dose took her, but I am assuming she went low and took a big bounce! Thankfully she seems to be rebounding well from it though.

That's what I am hoping. I have been able to maintain the 15 minutes give or take, but there are times I know I will have to do an hour. Knowing this, I can adjust accordingly a day or two before, then readjust a day or two after.

Would you believe that I am a nurse? Working with a human diabetic is much simpler. With Marshmellow, I feel like I am doing her no justice. I hope I get a handle on this soon, I feel almost helpless.
 
Hang in there. It will get easier. You're doing great with her. I've noticed that when Furball has high numbers from bouncing she doesn't feel bad like when she is just high. The bouncing can drive you crazy. Try to remember to not get hung up on just the numbers. That is easy to do. How well she is doing overall is what is important.
