Another one of those sorta high, sorta flat blue days. Don't know if I should be happy about that or if I should be thinking about bumping her up a tad to jump start more green. Of course, every time I start thinking about bumping up, Miss Polly usually throws me a reduction. Hmm? Kid. What do you want? Up to 3.0 or down to 2.5? Figure it out this weekend, Pretty Polly.
All's good in Pollywood. As usual, the critters are sleeping off their breakfasts. No breakfast, no sleep for me...yet this morning. Just some laundry and cleaning. So unfair.
Drizzle weather today. Such a shame for all the Greyts and their people who have come for the Greyhound Gathering. Hope it clears enough for the parade...lots of dogs, lots of cool costumes, lots of celebration for those dogs who've found their way to good homes and the life of a dog.
My girlfriend has had 10 to 15 rescued greys. She likes to take the older ones and give them a chance at a home during their final months, years. Never met a gentler, more loving, easier to live with dog breed. Such good souls. Heartbreaking what happens to so many of them simply for someone's entertainment and profit.
No parade. Well, I'll enjoy the drizzle with some sidewalk edging and some weed pulling. Goes so much easier when this desert clay is wet. Personally, I'm really crossing my fingers for a doggy parade! And a good "roooooooooo."
Vines and wishes.

A friend of mine rescued one, never met a sweeter more gentle dog! He thought he was a chiuhauhua- he insisted on being a lap dog!
