Happy June 1st! Solid blues and one green across the board yesterday. He may be lower today as I started feeding him a mix of 1/2 chicken (Soulistic) and 1/2 tuna (Tiki Cat) this morning.

NOTE:

I slept through my alarm this morning (soooooo mad/disappointed in myself), so his one hour late AMPS of 159 was at 8:00 AM. How do I correct the schedule? What do I give him tonight? He's 7:00 AM/PM.

You can move it up 1/2 hour tonight to 730. Then you can move it up to 700pm again tomorrow night. That delay is like a dose reduction so you may see some higher numbers today. Don't panic, things will straighten out quickly.

If you slept in that means you needed the rest. Make sure to take care of you!

As for you comment yesterday on going out..you are learning his numbers, so you can go out for dinner and come back. You can leave food out for him (don't know if he has anything brothers or sisters that would steal his food). You can give the normal injection but feed a higher carb food before you go out...abort the cycle so to speak to keep him in higher numbers. There is options as it is important that you take time to put those cookies back in your cookie jar (your emotional tank) by resting, doing things you love and being around people that will rejuvenate you.

Another idea...how about a pot luck dinner at your place for a few friends?

7:30 tonight and then 7:00 tomorrow night. What time should tomorrow's AM shot be?

I am unemployed now, but when I go back to work, I'm going to need to be able to give him his shot and then not see him again until I come home at 6:30-7:00. I do not have anyone that can help me with Simmy. I generally will go out to dinner and a movie, so that's usually 4 hours away. If I am going to bars with friends, I will generally leave at 10:30/11:00 and return 2:30-3:00.

Tomorrow AM should be 730.

Most people that work either get up a little early and do a +10 then PS and maybe a +1 when going out the door. Or do PS then +2 as going out the door. Then PMPS with a before bed test. Food is your friend to help out when gone. You may want to invest in a feeder that has portioned food out so there is food for him during the time you are gone. Say a snack every 3 hours. There is plenty of ways to still help Simmy and keep him safe. I personally thinking he just might go into remission now that you have concentrated the treatment plan.

That plus 4 was almost green!
