Yep, @Wendy&Neko sure looks like a bounce last night. He woke me up around +9 meowing and since he has had his nadir around there before, I decided to check. Seems like he might be clearing it already this morning? Time shall tell.

PMPS - 282
+3 = 377
+9.25 = 407
AMPS = 318

Thanks to all who helped me with shot technique. Things are now going much better in that department. Not that they were terrible, but I hated to see him uncomfortable at times. Gizmo says much thanks! :)

Is it a good idea to increase on the PM cycle or should I wait until tomorrow morning? My strips will be here by PMPS at the very latest.
 
Increasing at AM or PM is a personal preference. Gizmo has quite a bit of room for improvement so it's up to you. See what he does today.
 
I agree, your choice on when you want to increase. I just wouldn't wait too long. Paws crossed you see the strips soon.
 
Strips have arrived! Should I keep testing on days that he is high like this or give him a break until PMPS?

Gizmo finally became active again about an hour before his testing time (he spent the entire day sleeping inside our closet - his favorite place to nap). He didn't even tell me it was snack time at +6. That never happens. LOL Usually him being active indicates that he is back into low (yellows for him) numbers. I read on one of the info pages about putting Neosporin on his ears to help them heal. So I did that, but I think it made his next ear prick very difficult. Maybe it was just coincidence, but I had trouble getting his ears to bleed. And he was very agitated with me and wanted down. I don't know if that could have caused his sugar to rise so quickly (I'm guessing not, but I don't know).

3.5 units as soon as he is finished eating. We shall see if Gizmo can get some better numbers!
 
+2 = 411

I think I am going to grab a +3 before bed also just to see if he is going to come down any or continue going up.
