Vet is coming this afternoon to check Alice & take Ravan's BP. First visit is only $49. She's young & trying to start her "visiting Vet" business. Read good things about her. Hope she can help my Alice. I just couldn't "drop" her off at a vet I don't know. I need to be with her.

Alice & Ravan are laying outside. It's a beautiful morning. 80 degrees already. Supposed to get HOT the next few days. I'm happy I got the yard mowed when it was a bit cooler.

Sorry to say the Visiting Vet did not work out! She was very nice, but Alice freaked out. I've never seen her so stressed out. When I picked her up she peed & was struggling. I told the vet I'm sorry but Alice is just Too stressed.

She wanted to try to wrap her in a towel but I could see it was causing too much stress for Alice. I paid the vet for coming out but felt it was more harmful to stress Alice out more. So now I'm very upset I can't help Alice.

I feel I need to just let her be. Try to accept what ever is to happen. You'd think after over 50 years I'd know what to do but it's still very difficult to accept.

Oh no, I'm sorry that didn't work, it sounded like the perfect solution. Poor little Alice, she must have been so scared. I wonder if it was because the Dr. had smells from other animals on her?

Was she able to get Ravan's BP?

It never gets easier knowing they're not well. :( :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
