Awww....Miss China's being such a good kitty!! She remembered I have to take DM to the cardiologist this afternoon so is surfing nice and safely, while still doing her deputy duties!!

Anyway, I've got to get out of here in a few minutes, and even though China's being good, I know her LL aunties will pop in and check on her while I'm gone!!

It's raining here right now....which just means later this afternoon when we're out and about it's going to be a sauna....temps close to 100 with lots of humidity make it miserable for everyone that has to be out in it! I hate taking DM out in it, but don't have much choice in the matter.

Be good all you kitties...China's keeping her eyes on you!

Everything went well at the cardiologist....the doctor said she's in good shape for the shape she's in!! (she has less than 20% of her heart muscle left)...Her blood pressure is better than mine (112/68), pulse 80 (which is what her pacemaker is set at so that's good!!) and the battery in her pacemaker is good for 6 more years....I just hope and pray she's still here to need to replace it!!

I sure wish the forecast looked a little better ....we're back under a heat advisory for the next few days with heat indexes around 110....and the next 10 days doesn't look much better!

DM would like to go to Branson over the summer and I'd like to be able to take her, but with this kind of heat, I'm not going to risk her health. Just walking across a parking lot from the car to the door of a theater would be a lot like a trek across the Sahara.....there's also the money problem (always)

China's surfing pretty tonight...and as usual making her mama a little crazy by dropping a little fast for mama, but this is China!! It's not like she's never done it before!!!
