We're back in Michigan. Luci seems happy and is back to exploring all of her old favorite locations. Acclimating to our Michigan home is taking some work...so it's going to be a busy few weeks as we get things back to rights here.
It was a long trip and slightly delayed by a surprise flat tire! Fortunately we were able to locate replacement tires at a dealer not terribly far from where we were about 50 miles or so out of our way. DH wasn't very happy about this since these tires are very difficult to find - not typically in stock. The first dealer I called said he could get one by Monday
so several hours later we were back on the road...although we didn't get to our hotel on Saturday night until midnight...exhausting day. Our second day was uneventful, thankfully - just driving in heavy traffic, my goodness a lot of people are on the road! A thunderstorm or three...we finally made it home just before 10 p.m.
I hope everyone here is well and that your kitties are doing well. I hope to be able to catch up to the goings on here soon. Have a wonderful day!
Luci is ready to GO! (yes, it's blurred
)
Here's a pic of the tire...sheesh...(left front no less, on I-75)...
