AMPS 209 :(:( shooting 1.25u
I do believe his numbers are going up because the antibiotics were finished about a week ago. So he obviously had a UTI or something else going on that caused the quarter sized pees (b/w and culture was good) but also the inflammation in his mouth must have contributed to his high levels and since the antibiotics have stopped his numbers are steadily going up. His dental is Friday. I may contact Dr Larry tomorrow to see if there is an earlier appointment.

Boomer needed a lot of help eating his +3 last night but eventually he ate most of it so that I could go to bed. He left a bit in his +6 and +9 but did manage to eat them by himself.

Allen ate well again last night; he ate 2 full servings of chicken pate and about 1/2 serving of turkey pate.

On Boomer's menu today: AMPS ff turkey & giblets, +3 chicken pate +6 chicken pate +9 turkey pate

Today on the Bean's agenda.....I have a photo session in a couple of hours...originally scheduled for yesterday and it had to be rescheduled due to rain.
 
Fingers crossed that his numbers will start going back down after his dental. I was just looking at Mandarin's SS the other day and it seems like it has always taken him a while to recover from a dental and head back down. So I am still hopeful that this will be the case this time around too.

And last time Boomer had a dental he went right into remission! But it wasn't a strong remission and lasted only 3 months :(

Has he always been a "difficult" eater? Did the eating improve after last dental?

I have noticed a remarkable difference with Gizmo's appetite and behavior (improved) since I discontinued the Wellness.

When he was eating fancy feast only his appy was fine. But the last time he came out of remission I blamed the fancy feast (which may have been a mistake but there were a lot of rumours that the carbs in ff had gone up) and started switching him over to other foods. It didn't help his BG and it was problematic finding low carb foods for him that he liked. I've since then added back a new ff (turkey & giblets) which isn't one of his favourites and last night he decided he needed some fowl ball on it to make it palatable:rolleyes:
It works out ok.....I obviously know which ones he loves and which ones are...meh....and I only serve the "meh" ones when I know I'll be here to encourage him to eat and for the PS +6 and +9 and any meals that will happen when both of us are away I make sure he has one of his favourites.
