Mouzer sneaked into the bathroom - he is running!!! He is at an odd run but he is doing better with his neuropathy.
But ok - I let FatBoy in the bathroom and gave him half a can of 5.5oz Nutro Max Adult Chicken & Lamb Formula -
I dont know how Mouzer got in there without my seeing him except as I went out, he must have slipped in!
And that is good that he was able to do that and all lolol but I dont know if this food is low carb or not? It is grain free is all I know.
FatBoy was sittin in the shower watching Mouzer eat it up lolol

I have to hurry and go. I will check back here after church and getting situated. I have to hurry and take care of Tommy Cat and get him his broth and I do want to get out of here for church because I have missed so much with Mouzer the way he was -- but if anybody understands this information and can tell me if the Max Cat is low carb or not, just so I can know if I need to test Mouzer when I get in from church or maybe I just dont worry about it this time, I would appreciate if ya know and let me know lolol

As I see the ingredients, this actually has some good stuff in it for a stomatitis kitty but I dont know about the carbs for a diabetic kitty.
It has rice, salt, sodium, beef liver - those sound high somethin to me lolol

Hey Cherryl, congrats on another great start for Mouser!

Rice is a no -no for diabetic cats. Also, if you were to see peas, or potato in the ingredients, all carbs and not good for our sugar kitties.

It's great to hear Mouzer is running. His numbers may go up some today from sneaking the other food. If they do, you'll know why. I wouldn't worry about testing again until PMPS. Maybe it will be out of his system by then and not raise his numbers.

Happy Day 11!

I was seeing rice as ingredient and thinkin no no lol I wonder how many carbs is in that food.
It isnt somethin he gets and he sneaked in to get it but I will surely make sure not to feed it to him. He sure did like it hahaha

Our church had a bowling gathering at the bowling alley today. I went to church and got home about 12:15pm and we were to meet at the bowling alley at 2pm and I left home at 1:15pm and got there at 1:55pm - but we didnt start bowling until 2:30pm. I have not bowled in 20 years and that was fun. I hurried in from church and ran around doin animal chores and Tommy Cat needs me but I dont ever do anything but take care of animals, so I just made up my mind, Tommy Cat is going to be in the pain, whether I am here or not, so go have a little fun for a change -- and I did!! I didnt get home until 4:45pm. I have FatBoy in the bathroom eating his meal and I am having a cup of coffee before I have to go tend to Tommy Cat and Mouzer and feed the others who have to have special stuff in their food.

I fed Mouzer before I went bowling and I am making him wait now til pmps time to feed him again. I didnt know like --- ok Mouzer has been doing good with no shot and his eating that food - could that ever cause him to have to go back to shots again? Or does that just mess with the day the food is eaten in and that is it? Not like I want him making a habit of dashing in to eat the wrong food hahaha And yeah! He would have had to run into the bathroom to get the food and he ran out of the bathroom, as I stepped in, saw FatBoy in the shower watching Mouzer eat and Mouzer was almost done lol and I said - Oh Mouzer! No! And he ran out of the bathroom haha I was tickled to see him run out of the bathroom and down the hall. It was a cute funny run but he hasnt been able to run, so that was so good to see.

I'm glad you got out and had some fun. Accidentally eating some higher carb food shouldn't have a long term effect on Mouzer's numbers. You just don't want him to do that all of the time.

Ok Thank you!!! Good to know that! I am still so new at this, so any no-no's worries me until I know for sure if it was a horrible thing or not haha
