I thought he'd go to blue not yellow. He's on his way up again!

How can I possibly predict what his bg is going to do?

    2 weeks ago amps was 148 +1 152 so I thought he's going up . I went out for a while. Surprise! +4 bg was 35!!!

To me his bg is all over the place even his Nadir changes?

It's not easy to predict. Some cats have got to the point where they have beautiful flat curves. Others are up and down a bit and still others are up and down a substantial amount.

Raven's only been on insulin a few months and often it takes longer than that to regulate. When you're trying to decide whether he's going up, think about when he last ate and what he ate. Food will keep their levels up usually for a couple of hours.

Like I suggested and Wendy also suggested, get a test at +2. If he's even or lower than PS, it may be an active cycle and it's wise to get a test at +3 and go from there.

Today is not starting out very good. He's been in High #'s too long. I can NOT anticipate what his Bg will be.

How do " I Know my cat" when his SS is all over the place?

He hit 59 last night - he is probably bouncing. His body is not used to such a low number, so it is reacting to keep him safe. Just like it did on 06/13 after he hit 30. Breathe. He's okay. As he experiences these lower numbers more often, his body will become more accustomed to them and won't react so violently.

    Thank you.
I'm just so worried about his kidneys having a problem from these High #'s!

I get it. He hasn't been in sustained high numbers, though, so I don't think you need to worry too much. Just keep it in mind.
