I guess Harvey thinks one little toe dip in the lagoon today is going to save him from a dosecrease. You'll have to do better than that, buddy! Of course, I may have missed seeing him wade in further because I was so busy dealing with my scam situation (update follows).
Harvey ate very little of his t/f/s meal, and didn't want breakfast, so out came the Ondansetron and Cypro, and about 90 minutes later he was eating. He eventually polished of the entire can of FF (the second option I offered - he only ate a small amount of the first). Funny thing was, option 2 was a flavor he has historically not been too fond of.
OT: Scam update. The appointment was supposed to be 2:00. About 1:45 the doorbell rang. I peeked out a window from upstairs and saw a car with no signage parked in front. I waited, and after about a minute he rang again. Finally, the phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and it was not the name that the lady who called yesterday had given me. He got the machine but didn't leave a message. Then he tried again. Still no message. He drove away. I was wondering if he'd come back at 2, and sure enough,he called at 2:05 and I saw the car was once again in front of the house. He didn't bother to come to the door. He also did not leave a message this time. Then he left. I took the name from the caller ID and googled it. I found he had been indicted about 10 years ago for mortgage fraud and also arrested a couple of years ago for battery. I didn't see what the resolution was for either case. His area code was from the Sacramento area. About 90 minutes later a lady called, I think the same one that called yesterday. She left a message on the machine saying he'd been here and we weren't home, and she wanted to verify the address. She left her number this time. I did not call back. The caller ID said Amerivest Finan... (it was cut off). I couldn't find anything about that, locally, online. But she clearly said she was calling from The Renewable Energy Program. Nothing online about anything with that as the name - lots of programs out there. I did find one thing on google that linked the guy to a solar company, so my thought is that this is a solar scam - whether or not they actually follow through and install solar I don't know. I'm just glad I realized it was a scam. He looked like a perfectly nice, middle-aged man, too. Anyway, that took up a lot of my day. I hope it's over with, but I'll probably get another call or two.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
